BrestoKM was founded in 2019, and brings together knowledge in the ecology domain with regards to:
- Education
- Entrepreneurship
Through our various activities we address following domains:
- promoting pedagogical and eco-wise use of technology
- Aspects such as online/mobile learning are embedded in all our projects, using an OSS framework that allows availability of training materials online, via mobile (Android, iOS).
- Advanced and augmented ebooks that embed audio and video are created applying HTML5
- H5P learning modules development
- developing green skills and other related key competences
- Addressing the green skills gap in various business sectors is at the basis of many of our ECVET based initiatives.
- developing environmental awareness and entrepreneurship skills
- We have deployed over the years a detailed course in social entrepreneurship, and in cooperation with other organisations are also developing sustainable social entrepreneurship and management accounting courses for the organic farming businesses. Our next steps are to deploy this also for sustainable eco tourism.
